Purchasing a Product

We know that your time is valuable, so we have made our purchase process easy. In order to purchase a product from our website, you can do so normally without the need to fully register online. Registering online is a plus but is not necessary for you to complete your check out process. In case you do wish to register, the account password you provide should be unique and kept secure. In case of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account, you are advised and encouraged to notify www.thepavementworld.com immediately. All information provided is strictly confidential and we do not share your information with anyone.

 

 

Eligibility to Purchase

In order to make purchases on www.thepavementworld.com you will be required to provide some basic personal information. In particular, you must provide your real name, real phone number, real e-mail address, accurate shipping info and/or address and other requested information in order that we be able to process your order as accurately and swiftly a possible. In case you are paying via credit card and not by Cash on Delivery, you will be required to provide basic payment details that are needed for any online credit card purchase; as to confirming your identity referred to in the Billing information provided.

 

This web purchasing feature is allowed only for those who have been issued a valid credit/debit card by a bank acceptable to www.thepavementworld.com, whose applications are acceptable to us and who have authorized us to process a charge on their credit/debit card in the amount of the total purchase price for the merchandise which they choose. All transactions are safe and secure. 

 

In the only case that we might share information, note that we may use personal information provided by you in order to conduct appropriate anti-fraud checks. Personal Information that you provide may be disclosed to a credit reference or fraud prevention agency, which may keep record of that information.

 

 

Orders and Pre-Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability and items in your shopping basket are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers. Having an Item in your basket does not mean that it is saved for checkout. Any other client within your choosing timeframe might opt to purchase your product and/or size concurrently.

 

www.thepavementworld.com sellable products are all stocked and are not drop-shipped! They are available for client delivery from our distribution warehouse. We may from time to time release a "pre-order this item" section which will allow you to pre-order something that is out of stock or coming soon. In that case we may allow an advance purchase.  We only take advance purchase orders for stock that has been scheduled for delivery by a factory that we’re working with. In case of any changes in the advance purchase that you ordered or in case we are unable to meet the deadline that we have set for the release and delivery of the product, we will refund you the full amount either to your credit card or via Cash On Delivery so we kindly ask that your billing and shipping information is accurate. 

 

Alternatively, you may simply choose to register your email address to be notified when an item is back in stock. In such a case, you hold priority for notification of the arrival of the selected merchandise provided we have the accurate email address to send you a notification on.

 

Items received into stock may be pre-allocated to satisfy customers making Advance Payments via credit card or Cash On Delivery who will receive items in priority to customers on the email waiting list or customers ordering shopping through the Site for immediate delivery. If you have registered your email address for notification of the arrival of a specific product featured on our Website, we will attempt to notify you by email within 48 hours upon the product's arrival. On occasion certain products that are pre-ordered may end up looking different to the photo describing them, and in this case you eligible to an exchange of the item. Note that because we are a boutique online store, our products are also niche and boutique concept items. Not everyone will be wearing them. So items in particularly high demand will sell out during a short time frame.

 

 

Pricing Policy 

Prices shown on the Site are in USD and are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate. 

 

Product prices are set at the beginning of each season using existing currency exchange rates. These prices are subject to change if the applicable currency exchange rate changes within the selling period.  If you are a customer whose credit/debit card is not denominated in USD, the final price will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate to your local currency on the day your card issuer processes the transaction.

 

 

Acceptance of Your Order

 For your order to be processed, www.thepavementworld.com will email you that your transaction has been authorized, and that the processing is under way. In the case of worldwide shipping, you will then receive an Order ID (tracking number) and will be able to track your package through the designated shipping company. 

 

We reserve the right not to accept your order under several events, for example: if we are unable to obtain authorization for payment, if shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, if the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards. In all cases, if we do happen to not accept your order, you will be notified ASAP via email and/or phone number.

 

 

Payment

Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Visa Debit, Electron and any other methods which may or may not be advertised on the site. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon dispatch of your order by www.thepavementworld.com. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorize payment to us we will not be responsible for any delay or non-delivery. In this event, you will be notified ASAP via email or phone.

 

We make sure that our website is secure. All credit/debit card transactions on this site are processed using a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure and hosted environment.

 

 

Gift Vouchers 

  • At the moment our gift card section is under construction and will be available shortly.
  • Gift Vouchers will not expire.  
  • Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • The person that you wish to gift, whose name is on the gift card should be the person to use it
  • If your order total is less than the value of the Voucher, the remaining balance will be credited to your account and will be redeemed against subsequent orders. Our store will redeem your card and present you with a receipt and your new balance.
  • If your order exceeds the value of the Voucher and you have existing store credit on your account, this will automatically be redeemed to cover the remaining balance. All remaining balances exceeding the value of your Voucher credit must be paid by Cash On Delivery or credit card or debit card.
  • Online Voucher Cards will be e-mailed to the recipient once the full order has been processed and payment has been taken. A copy will also be sent to the sender as a confirmation of dispatch.
  • We are not responsible if a Voucher/Gift Card is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission.
  • We reserve the right to cancel a Gift Card if we detect fraudulent behavior.

Delivery Terms

www.thepavementworld.com provides you under its international shipping terms with an added payment option in case you would like to insure your package's international delivery. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If, you choose another recipient other than you is to receive the delivered goods, then you accept that their signature is evidence of the delivery that we have made to you.

 

Please note that we aim to ship all orders within 24-48 hours. Estimated delivery time which is within a 7 working day timeframe is to be used as a guide only and not as a rule. We are not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes, and delays for items reaching remote and far towns away from central cities.

 

Our Friendly ‘Shop At Home’ Cash On Delivery Service Armed by Wakilni

  • Seeing as we have a ‘Shop At Home’ Cash On Delivery service, some items may be out of stock and then come back to stock on the website.
  • Shop At Home clients within Lebanon are offered the option to try two sizes and/or models and decide which shoes they wish to take.
  • We send up to 4 items for trial.
  • If you are a client trying our Shop At Home service, you have 10-15 minutes to try on and choose your item.
  • Kindly take the package from the courier driver who delivers it to you, close your home or office door, try on the shoe sizes and/or models that you wish to compare the fit for, choose whether you wish to purchase them or not, open the door again and pay for the item(s) chosen.
  • In case you purchase any pair of shoes, you delivery is free of charge.
  • In case you do not purchase any shoes from our ‘Shop At Home’ service, you are requested to pay $3 for deliveries within Beirut and $4 for deliveries within Lebanon.
  • In case the size for your favorite item is out of stock, click on the "Notify me when this product is back in stock" button so that we can contact you upon a size or item's availability.
